Travel is a gift, and sometimes, it becomes a miracle. This September, God gave me a blessing beyond measure—a reunion with my daughter Anja in Seoul, South Korea, after more than a year of being apart. Together with my son Angelo, we embarked on a trip that filled my heart with joy, gratitude, and awe for His goodness.
Setting Sail for Beauty
Nami Island. One of our destinations was Nami Island, and we boarded a yacht to reach it. The waters sparkled under the Korean sun, and the peaceful ride reminded me that God’s creation is always beautiful, always renewing.
Nami Island welcomed us with calmness and charm. The relaxing scenery, the gentle rustle of trees, and the quiet pathways gave us the gift of reflection and togetherness.

“Simply relaxing—every corner of Nami Island is a reminder of God’s artistry.”
Exploring Seoul’s Energy
Subway to Gangnam. From Myeongdong’s vibrant shopping streets to the modern heartbeat of Gangnam, Seoul’s energy was contagious. Riding the subway, I marveled at how this city blends tradition and innovation so seamlessly.

“Every stop tells a story—Seoul’s rhythm carries both old and new.”
A Birthday to Remember
At the iconic Starfield Library, we celebrated Angelo’s birthday on September 11. Surrounded by thousands of books reaching up to the sky, it felt like celebrating inside a cathedral of knowledge and dreams.
I thanked God for granting Angelo another year filled with blessings and joy.

Farewell, but Never Goodbye
At Incheon Airport on September 14, the time came to say goodbye to Anja. It was the hardest moment of the trip, but also the most tender.
“See you again this December, anak,” I whispered. “Please take care of yourself always. You deserve all the happiness in the world. God bless you.”

Looking Ahead with Faith
Though this trip was complete in so many ways, my heart longs for the day when Johanne and Papa can join us on an overseas journey. Until then, I carry this trip as a sacred memory of love, family, and God’s faithfulness.
| Gratitude Note Thank You, Lord, for this amazing journey. My heart is filled with joy and thanksgiving. You truly make all things possible. |
